Gazzmatic International Limited manufacture a very extensive range of adjustable dampers and suspension kits for the road and motorsport market. The units are hand built to the highest standards in our factory in the south east of England.
These products are available through a wide network of specialist outlets both in the U.K. and world wide. Gaz units are provided with an on car multi point adjustment facility that alters bump and rebound settings on a preset ratio i.e. 31, 21 etc by a single control knob on the side of the unit. The struts and inserts in the road range are fitted with a top adjuster that alters rebound settings only but the bump setting can be altered for various motor sport use i.e. drag racing, track day or race use at the point of order.

GAZ GT Shock Absorbers
A very extensive range of telescopic dampers for both modern and classic car applications. These units can be built in various open and closed lengths and will adjust bump and rebound off a single control knob.
GAZ Gold Coilover Kits
Gaz Gold height adjustable kits are a premium range of suspension units designed for tarmac motorsport and the serious track day enthusiast. Most of the GHA Listings are available in the Gold range with the addition of strut kits for the classic and retro car market i.e. Lotus, Cortinas, Escort, Mexicos, Capris, Lancia Intergrale and Evo‘s.
GAZ GP Coilovers
A vast range of height and damping adjustable units for road and competition use. These units are available in two diameters 1.3/4” o.d. mainly to take 1.9” i.d. coils. These units have a 12mm piston rod and a gas cell fitted in the outer reservoir. The 2” body units are available with 1214 or 16mm rods and a wide range of spring seat sizes. These are also fitted with a gas cell to prevent cavitation and resist fade. All units are available with bearings, bonded or polyurethane bushes.
GAZ GS Shock Absorbers
This is a fixed spring seat unit to take standard diameter coil springs with the added benefit of adjustable damping from a single control knob. These units are manufactured mainly for the classic car market to retain original equipment ride height but lengths can be adjusted to customers requirements if the car is to be lowered or raised for competition use.
GAZ GHA Kits
Gaz height adjustable kits are primarily made for the modified road car market. The main features of these kits are:
- On car damping adjustment
- Shortened body and stroke lengths to allow a 25 to 65mm ride height adjustment
- The units have a coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment and to minimise corrosion the unit is zinc plated.
- All units are provided with high quality coil springs in various rates and diameters. Spring rates can be altered on request to suit customers requirements.
When a coilover is unable to be installed a separate damper and rear coil spring with a variable spring platform is used so the kit retains full height adjustment.
GAZ 40mm Monotube Suspension Inserts
Gaz offers a 40mm inverted mono tube insert, which features a high quality hard chrome plated outer cylinder that is fitted with a 14mm induction hardened piston rod. The unit is charged with nitrogen and a high viscosity fluid that is separated by a floating piston for consistant damping under extreme condtitions. They are available in various lengths for rally, trackday and race to take roller bearing mounts.
GAZ Gold Pro Coilovers
Gaz Gold Pro kits are a premium range of suspension units designed for fast road, track day and tarmac motorsport use. They are manufactured from high tensile alloy with induction hardened piston rods and have a multi point adjustable control knob to adjust bump and rebound. These units are filled with high viscosity index fluid to alleviate cavitation and have an internal gas cell to help prevent fade, added to this the Gaz Gold Pro range are offered with self lubricating spherical bearings and progressive bump stops.
GAZ Double Adjustable Race Coilovers
In response to customer demand, we now produce a double adjustable coilover damper specifically for competition or serious track day use where extra damper adjusting perameters are required. The body of the damper now sports two multi point adjustable control knobs, one for the bump and one for the rebound adjustment. They are manufactured from high tensile alloy with induction hardened piston rods and are filled with high viscosity index fluid to help prevent fade and have an internal gas cell to alleviate cavitation. They are available in a range of body diameters, strokes and lengths and come with the option of selflubricating spherical bearings and progressive bump stops.
GAZ GAI Inserts
A range of top adjustable inserts that alter rebound only but are available with various bump rates for road or competition cars manufactured from the 1960’s onwards.
GAZ Monotube Coilovers
A new quality damper to satisfy the needs of the discerning competition and track day enthusiasts. Built from high tensile alloy to withstand the high stresses that are involved in race conditions. The damper body is hard anodised to give maximum protection against wear during use. Bump and rebound are on the car adjustable by a single adjuster on the rod and the unit is charged with an inert gas via an internal floating piston. PTFE lined spherical bearings are used for the end fittings to give a smooth quiet mounting of the unit.
GAZ Top Mounts and Camber Adjusters
We now offer a wide range of uprated top mounts, two piece sliding mounts and eccentric top mounts to improve handling and provide adjustability for the steering geometry. Although they will improve handling they are only recommended for track and race use as the resulting ride would be too harsh for regular road use.
GAZ Gold Coilover Kits with Remote Canisters
Premium level and more extreme motorsports may require more oil in the damping system and the ability to keep it cool to reduced fade in race conditions. GAZ can offer GAZ Gold units remote oil canisters on certain applications and custom builds. Bump/Rebound Adjusters can be situated on the canisters for ease of access.
